REHABILITATE
Building refurbishment is one of the most daring and ingenious architecture and engineering jobs. By renovating our buildings, we have preserved original architectural details while incorporating modern comforts and energy-efficient technologies. Our commitment to ESG principles is evident in the use of noble, durable materials like wood and marble, as well as the restoration of vintage furniture by local artisans. Through these efforts, we aim to minimize our environmental impact and support the local community.
WATER - Cold facts!
Conserving water and energy are essential. A typical 15-minute shower can use up to 180 liters of water. To minimize waste, Dare Lisbon has implemented several water-saving measures. Our accommodation enjoys a 20-minute hot water supply every 2 hours, while water flow reducers and thermostatic mixers in the showers help regulate temperature and flow, ensuring comfort without compromising on sustainability.
ENERGY Only good energies Not only the building refurbishment was environmentally conscious, but there's also a lot of things we do inside our house that help our planet.
We opted for a minimalist decor without curtains and rugs, taking into account our allergy-sensitive guests.
From thermally insulated windows, LED lamps, water flow reducers and thermostatic mixers in the showers to the choice of highly energy-efficient appliances, in order to reduce electricity consumption.
